Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic sent his condolences to Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and expressed readiness to provide assistance after the tragic train accident in Greece.

Two trains collided during an accident that happened last night, killing at least 36 people and injuring 85.

"I express my condolences to Prime Minister Mitsotakis and the citizens of Greece after the horrific accident that claimed many lives. Words provide little comfort as we grieve with you and stand in solidarity with the brotherly Greek people, ready to provide any help," Vucic wrote on Twitter.

An intercity passenger train traveling from Athens to Thessaloniki collided at high speed with a freight train. The crash happened outside the city of Larissa, in central Greece.
