The number of people killed in the collision of two trains in Greece has risen to 36, and as far as we have been able to learn, there are no Serbian citizens among the injured and dead passengers.

The search and rescue operation is now focused on the first three carriages of the passenger train, reports Proto Thema.

According to the latest data, 66 people were injured, most of whom have been transferred to the hospital in Larissa. Six people are in the intensive care unit.

As Telegraf.rs has learned, there are no Serbian citizens among the injured and dead passengers.

The Greek media are reporting that there are missing persons, while the identification of the victims has started in the hospital in Larissa.

The accident happened last night shortly after midnight, when a passenger and a freight train collided head-on.
