The mayor of Rijeka, Marko Filipovic (43), stressed that he has nothing against Ana Bekuta, Keba, Zorana Micanovic and Dusko Kulis performing in that city.

Namely, the mayor points out that he is opposed to bans and wants to see "a good turbo folk party."

"Whoever listens to it, let them listen and go to the concert, and whoever doesn't won't buy a ticket and nobody will force them to listen. As far as I know, these organizers did not contact Rijeka," said Filipovic.

The Let 3 band, the Croatian Eurovision Song hopefuls, also would not mind folk music being performed in Rijeka.

"I cannot wait! Cajke (derogatory Croatian expression for Serbian folk singers) are the only thing we have, if they ban that, we have nothing," Damir "Mrle" Martinovic shared with 24sata.hr.
