Brutal attack in Belgrade: Vendor frenetically attacks customer, throws his things, was he suspecting theft?
A serious fight broke out in Kamenicka Street in Belgrade, when, according to the eyewitnesses whose accounts were published on the Serbia Live - Beograd Instagram account, a Chinese store vendor and a customer got into it.
"Last night in front of the Philological Grammar School, a Chinese man from a Chinese store attacked a man thinking he had stolen something and tore his whole bag up."
The vendor was shouting, and the guy who was the victim of the attack was defending himself.
What Instagram users particularly condemned was the laughter heard in the background.
"It's interesting that they are filming and laughing. We no longer have emotional intelligence. To say the least. No one is approaching to help. Disgraceful," was one of the comments.
Whether the goods were stolen or it this was a case of misunderstanding cannot be concluded from the video.
The vendor's reaction is certainly inappropriate and, instead of throwing things and attacking the man, he could have informed the police if he suspected theft.
