Namely, everything took place around 9 pm not far from the Red Star stadium, in the parking lot in front of a supermarket on Oslobodjenja Boulevard. According to what is known, several Partizan fans beat four supporters of the Moldovan club, two of whom ended up at the Military Medical Academy (VMA) clinic.

As confirmed for Telegraf, two Moldovan citizens were given help during the night, and then they were released for treatment at home with minor injuries.

"I was heading to the store when a bunch of guys suddenly appeared. A fight broke out in which Russian and some other language was heard, and then police sirens were heard," said one of the passers-by.

After citizens reported the kerfuffle, a large number of police officers intervened.

"The Sheriff fans wore no symbols are were going to the store. As we suspect, Partizan fans waited for them in the parking lot and simply beat them up. Two visitors with injuries were transported to the VMA, where they received treatment. Their comrades escaped with minor injuries and were frightened, but refused medical help. The video of it all the surveillance cameras has been reviewed and we have clues as to who the culprits behind fight are, so we are looking for them. Colleagues from public order and peace who have more experience with fan groups are also involved in the investigation," said a source familiar with the case.

The rematch between Partizan and Sheriff (Moldova) is scheduled to start at 18:45 in Belgrade.
