Video of horrific moment of Zrenjanin Road accident: Drunk BMW driver on drugs leaves two sisters and runs

Belgrade police have arrested D.S. (23) on suspicion that he fled the scene after a traffic accident without providing help to injured persons. We have unofficially learned that he was under the influence of alcohol and narcotics at the time of the crash.

In the meantime, a video of the moment of the violent collision on the Zrenjanin Road appeared on social networks. The driver of the second BMW succumbed to his injuries in the hospital.

The video shows a car, which is moving at high speed, hitting another.

The force of the impact sent both flying to opposite sides of the road.

D.S. suffered minor injuries in this collision, while two people who were in his car got seriously injured. The 36-year-old driver of the second BMW died as a result of the crash, while his passenger suffered serious injuries.

Proceedings against D.S. will be carried out by the First Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade on suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of not providing assistance to persons injured in a traffic accident.

Unofficially, D.S. has so far had as many as 57 misdemeanor complaints filed against him.
