Brnabic: Just one example of the extent and audacity of Albin Kurti's lies, brutal!
The prime minister also shared the statement of Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Petar Petkovic who pointed out that Albin Kurti should find another excuse for the fact that his coffers are empty and stop lying and criminalizing Serbs
Prime Minister Ana Brnabic has said that the assertion made by Prime Minister of the provisional institutions of Pristina Albin Kurti - that "Serbia-controlled parallel structures" in the north cost the citizens and taxpayers in Kosovo and Metohija 320 million euros in allegedly unpaid electricity bills and 17 million euros in water supply bills since 1999 - was a brutal lie.
"This is just one example of the extent and audacity of lies of Albin Kurti. Can one imagine to what extent he lies about things which are less easy to check, and less obvious (also less known) than this? Brutal," Brnabic posted on Twitter.

"Lie and nothing but lie by Albin Kurti. For two decades, Belgrade had financially supported electricity consumption in the north of Kosovo and Metohija, and, just as an example, between November 2009 and December 2020, we allocated 171 million euro for that purpose. That is why Albin Kurti should find another excuse for the empty treasury and stop lying and criminalizing Serbs," Petkovic said on Twitter.
He also stressed that Pristina is the only one responsible for non-implementation of the energy Road Map, since it does not want to allocate distributive services to Elektrosever.
"Pristina, stop the fake news!" added Petkovic.
Kurti made the claim on Twitter yesterday that, "Serbia-controlled parallel structures in Kosovo's northern municipalities have cost citizens and taxpayers in the rest of the country 320 million euros in unpaid energy bills and 17 million euros in water supply bills since 1999."
