Woman located 15 meters under rubble by Serbian rescuers pulled out alive
A woman, who was located yesterday by Serbian rescuers using special equipment, was pulled out of the ruins in Turkey today alive, after spending more than 100 hours under rubble.
The woman was at a depth of more than 15 meters.
Serbian rescuers have been helping the victims of the devastating earthquake in Turkey for days. Our heroes search day and night for survivors, and the woman who was rescued today, five days after the devastating earthquake, was located thanks to the special equipment that our rescuers have.
"When a building of 7 or 8 floors is reduced to only 3 after an earthquake, then you can imagine the level of destruction here. And there are many of them. There are also large residential and commercial buildings, we are currently moving on to one such, and the assumption is that at least one hundred people were in it, and only a minimal number have been pulled out. A convoy is just heading there...", Davor Vidovic from our rescue team told Telegraf this morning.
Our rescuers are located in the town of Hatay, near Syria.
