Brian Walshe appeared via Zoom today in the Quincy District Court for a hearing, on charges of murdering his wife Ana Walshe.

The hearing started with a delay of half an hour, and then, at the request of Tracy Miner, Brian Walshe's attorney, the hearing was moved to March 1, 2023.

The attorney stated that she did not receive documentation on the collected evidence in a timely manner, and for that reason she requested that the hearing be postponed.

Brian Walshe appeared briefly via Zoom from custody, but after confirming his presence, he didn't make any further statements.

After the judge accepted the attorney's proposal, he ordered Walshe to remain in custody until the new hearing date and reiterated that the bail was set at $500,000.

Unlike the first hearing, this time there was not a large number of press crews in front of the court.

On January 18, Walshe was accused of murdering his wife Ana Walshe, born in Belgrade, and this was his second appearance before the judge.

He is accused of killing Ana and dismembering her body in the basement of the family home in Cohasset on January 1, and then disposing of it.

The prosecutors then presented a number of evidence that they came across during the investigation into the disappearance of Ana Walshe.

They said Brian left a disturbing Google search history on his son's iPad, including questions like, "10 ways to get rid of a body," and, "how to prevent a body from decaying."

The prosecution presented the evidence they collected from 10 garbage bags that were allegedly dumped at a trash processing site near the apartment of Brian's mother.

Among the evidence is a piece of a necklace Ana wore, a Prada purse, a Covid vaccination card in her name and other items containing Ana's and Brian's DNA.

Brian's bail had been revoked and he has since been held at the Norfolk County Correctional Facility.

A Telegraf.rs crew was in Boston and went to the house where the Walshe family lived before the tragedy.
