Exclusive! Novak raises trophy and 3 fingers in front of Serbs: Frenzy unlike any Melbourne remembers follows
The smile can't leave one's face! Novak Djokovic has won his tenth Australian Open trophy after defeating Stefanos Tsitsipas in the final without any difficulty.
He set the pace that suits him and cleaned him up in three sets - 3-0 (6-3, 7-6, 7-6).
With that, Djokovic is now tied with Rafael Nadal for the number of Grand Slam titles won - 22. It was, however, a special day for everyone.
And Djokovic tried his best to make the Serb fans, who were waiting for him in front of Rod Laver Arena, even more happy. He came out to greet them, with the trophy that he had raised in front of an audience of millions just a few minutes earlier.
In addition, he raised three fingers (the traditional Serbian salute), which further delighted those present, who started chanting, "Nole, you Serb."
It's an understatement to say that our fans were super happy, and you can see the absolute frenzy in the footage on this page.
