Man beats owner of exchange office and car dealership to death: Police chasing the killer in Novi Sad
Police in Novi Sad are looking for a man suspected of murdering J.J. last night in the Veternik settlement, Telegraf.rs has learned.
The man's body was found in a car, and cameras captured the suspect.
As we have unofficially learned, the man who was murdered last night at Nova Street in Veternik is J.J., the owner of an exchange office in Detelinara and a car dealership in Veternik.
As we have learned, yesterday afternoon before the murder, he was in his shop, after which he left, and shortly after that he was killed.
Unofficially, cameras from a nearby car repair shop recorded the moment of the murder.
The cameras allegedly show an argument and then a fight, and the perpetrator fled on foot in an unknown direction after committing the crime.
It is not known if he came there in a car together with the late J.J.
The police were investigating at the scene until late at night, as one part of the street was closed off.
Novi Sad police chief Goran Radonjic was also at the scene at one point.
The motive for the murder is currently unknown, and according to unofficial information, J.J. did not have links with the criminal underground.
