We went to stores in Melbourne: Deodorant and raspberries cost much less than in Serbia

With its natural resources, warm climate and beautiful beaches, Australia is one of the top 10 happiest places to live. Although very remote, it is always an attractive destination for both tourists and those who want to study and work abroad.

Australia is also a country with a very high standard of living, so the prices follow that standard.

Apartment prices are also high in Melbourne, for example, you would have to pay more than half a million euros for a three-bedroom apartment.

And what about food prices?

We went to a supermarket, and noted the prices of certain foods and household items.

Thus, toilet paper costs from 4 to 8 Australian dollars, Nivea deodorant 6.75 (the same price for men and women) that is, 509 Serbian dinars, while the price of toothpaste is 8 dollars.

Apples cost $6, lemons $12, oranges $9, tomatoes $3, and bananas $4.

Eggs cost $4.50, flour $1.90, peppers $16.40, and watermelon $4.30. We also found raspberries, they cost 4.50 dollars (340 dinars).

One Australian dollar equals 76 dinars.
