A walk along Australian Open with Telegraf: Take a look at the beautiful Melbourne Park complex
The Australian Open is one of the best organized tournaments in the world, and one of the four biggest tennis events. The complex where legends are made is located in Melbourne Park, the place where Novak Djokovic could win the tenth Australian Open title of his career.
The main stadium in the entire park is, of course, the legendary Rod Laver Arena, where legends are made, and it can accommodate 15,000 spectators.
After that, there's the half-sized Margaret Court Arena. That stadium is recognized for having probably the fastest opening and closing roof in the world. Only about five minutes are needed for this to be done.
The John Cain Arena is also very popular, and in recent times is known as Nick Kyrgios' favorite venue.
All these larger stadiums are surrounded by a dozen other courts that are very active during the first and second round of singles, but later also when the doubles and juniors join.
Behind the John Cain is the National Tennis Center, where most of the training takes place behind closed doors.
According to many, this is the best organized Grand Slam, but certainly exotic enough that everyone would like to visit it at least once.
