Wishing a happy New Year and a merry (upcoming Orthodox) Christmas to President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, Vladimir Putin focused on the fact that in 2022, Russia-Serbia relations continued to make steady progress based on the principles of strategic partnership, the message said.
The two countries strengthened practical cooperation, including trade and economic cooperation as well as cultural and humanitarian, deepening the trust-based political dialogue and coordination of efforts in international and regional affairs, which has been particularly significant in the current complicated geopolitical situation, it added.
"I hope that we can work together to further boost our constructive and multi-faceted bilateral cooperation for the benefit of the brotherly Russian and Serbian nations," Putin stated.
