Exports increased by 26 percent from January to November: Value of goods 25 billion euros
Serbia's overall external trade increased from January to the end of November by 30.8 percent to 59.27 billion euros compared to the same period in 2021, with exports increasing by 26.4 percent and imports by 34.1 percent.
Goods worth 24.81 billion euros were exported, and imported for 34.46 billion, the Statistical Office has announced.
The deficit amounts to 9.64 billion euros, which is an increase of 58.9 percent compared to the same period last year. The export-import ratio was 71.9 percent and is lower than in the same period last year, when it was 76.4 percent.
Expressed in dollars, the overall foreign trade amounted to 62.45 billion, which is an increase of 16 percent compared to last year.
During the observed 11 months, the export of goods was worth 26.12 billion dollars, and is higher by 12 percent at the annual level, while imports increased by 19.1 percent to reach 36.33 billion dollars.
The deficit amounts to 10.21 billion dollars, which is an increase of 41.8 percent year-on-year. The region of Vojvodina had the largest share in Serbian exports (34.4%), and the Belgrade region (43.4%) in imports.
Foreign exchange in goods was the highest with countries with which Serbia has signed free trade agreements.
The member countries of the European Union participated with 58.8 percent in the total exchange.
The main individual foreign trade partner in Serbia's exports was Germany, to which goods worth 3.48 billion euros were sold, and on the import side, China is the leader, from which we bought products in the amount of 4.38 billion euros.
The second most important foreign trade partner are the CEFTA countries, with which Serbia achieved a trade surplus of 2.29 billion euros, with our exports amounting to 3.83 billion and imports to 1.53 billion euros.
The export-import ratio was 250.2 percent.
In November alone, export of Serbian goods was worth 2.42 billion euros, which is an increase of 20 percent compared to the same month last year.
Imports amounted to 3.15 billion and increased by 16.3 percent at the annual level.
According to seasonally adjusted data, November exports increased by 0.5 percent compared to October, while imports fell by 6.1 percent, according to data from the Statistical Office.
