Djokovic loses his "miracle worker": Ulises Badio is no longer on Novak's team, he has a new physio
According to Sport Klub, Novak Djokovic has a new physiotherapist as Ulises Badio will no longer do that job. Instead, Novak's physio is now Claudio Zimaglia from Italy.
Badiou has worked with Djokovic for years, and was considered one of the most deserving on his team for the title the Serbian tennis player won in Australia in 2021, after he tore a muscle in the round of 16 and then made an incredible recovery thanks to, as Novak himself said, the miraculous hands of his Argentinian physiotherapist.
Zimaglia was seen and photographed by photojournalists during the first training session Novak Djokovic had in Adelaide.
Djokovic arrived there on Tuesday, and on Wednesday already started preparations for the tournament in Adelaide that will be held January 1-6.
For now, there is no confirmation of the news regarding Badio from Djokovic himself, nor has the physio announced the end of his collaboration with Novak.
