Ana Brnabic reacts to Kurti's threats: The only rational thing to do is to form the ZSO

Prime Minister of Serbia Ana Brnabic reacted today to Albin Kurti's statement that he "worries" that the barricades cannot be removed without casualties.

"With his statements, Kurti once again shows the whole world that what he is doing are threats of killings and violence against Serbs, instead of doing the only rational thing - form the Community of Serb Municipalities (ZSO), respect the rule of law and stop arresting innocent people just because they are Serbs," Brnabic said.

Namely, According to the Guardian, Kurti has stated that his "worry" is that the removal of the barricades in the north of Kosovo and Metohija "cannot exclude casualties."

In an article entitled "Kosovo PM says Russia is inflaming Serbia tensions as Ukraine war falters," the newspaper also quotes Kurti as saying that Pristina "wants to be as careful as possible to make sure that there will be no destabilization and relative peace and security will be in place."
