President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic today in Belgrade asked the commander of the NATO Joint Force Command, Admiral Stuart Munsch, that this military alliance protect the Serb people in Kosovo and Metohija.

"Good conversation with Admiral Munsch. I asked NATO to protect our people in Kosovo and Metohija and thanked for the understanding of Serbia's policy of neutrality," Vucic wrote on the Instagram account "buducnostsrbijeav."

Munsch told Tanjug yesterday that KFOR is closely monitoring the situation in the north of Kosovo and Metohija and is ready to provide a safe environment and freedom of movement for all communities everywhere in Kosovo and Metohija, in line with the mandate based on Resolution 1244 of the UN Security Council.

He appealed on all parties to act constructively, in order to ensure security and freedom.
