Alarming situation in Gnjilane and surrounding villages: Floods destroy farms, cause great damage

Heavy rainfall during Wednesday evening caused flooding of a number of houses in the town of Gnjilane as well as in some villages, and significant damage was also caused to agriculture.

Some photos published on Facebook show several flooded houses, for example in Enver Miftari Street in the village of Malisevo, where considerable material damage was done, writes Telegrafi.com.

The floods also caused great damage to agriculture in the villages of Livoc and Donje Slakovice, near Gnjilane.

The Hydrometeorological Institute of Kosovo said that there will be a slight increase in temperatures and extreme values and rain on Thursday.

The minimum temperatures will be between 3-6 degrees Celsius, and the daily highs will be between 8-11 degrees.

The wind will blow from the northwest and southwest at 1 to 9 meters per second.
