Kurti makes announcement: This week I am submitting application for membership in the European Union
Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has announced that he will submit an application for membership in the European Union this week, writes telegrafi.com.
President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic already said that on December 15, Pristina will apply for membership in the European Union, which, he stressed, represents a case of "direct undermining" of the Washington Agreement.
Vucic told a press conference that he had sent a letter to the presidents and prime ministers of the five European Union member countries that have not recognized Kosovo - Cyprus, Greece, Romania, Slovakia and Spain - because only sovereign independent states can apply for EU membership.
