Miodrag Jesic killed: Footballer and former Partizan coach perishes in crushed car during accident near Ruma
Miodrag Jesic, former football player and coach of FC Partizan, died in a traffic accident on the Ruma-Jarak road today.
As we have learned, he car "flew" under a truck and he died on the spot.
The tragedy happened in an uninhabited part of the village of Jarak.
Long lines of vehicles formed on main road, and traffic was diverted.
We found out that the driver of the truck, who was slightly injured, told the police that he "couldn't avoid a Citroen that flew under."
"The driver, who is in a state of shock, told the police that he noticed the car late and that it was moving in a zig-zag pattern. The driver was tested for alcohol. The investigation is ongoing," our source close to the investigation said.
At the roundabout on the road to Sabac, just three kilometers from the place where the terrible accident occurred in which Miodrag Jesic died, the police blocked traffic.
His vehicle, as we unofficially learned, has been towed to Ruma. The place where the accident happened has now been cleared.
