Vucic says he is traveling to Tirana: I will fight for our people's interests
President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic visited the training ground in Nikinci today and attended a military exercise conducted by the Serbian Army, and then made an address.
When asked by a journalist if he is going to the (EU-Western Balkans) summit in Tirana, the president replied:
"I spoke with Ana (Brnabic), with my friends, I don't have a problem, it's not a matter of my ego, I've been trying for ten and a half years to always take care of everything, sometimes you just get overwhelmed by emotions, when you don't know what to do anymore, when someone has been producing crises for you for months."
"I must live with that. Everything I said was true. There will be a lot of good things for our citizens from the trip to Tirana."
Vucic also said that he will go to there in order to fight for the interests of the Serbian people.
"I reacted emotionally... I'm made of flesh and blood and it's very difficult for me when I hear that rhetoric about Kosovo and Metohija, and it caused that rancor, anger and rage... I'm not sure, but I hope that there will be some benefit from my going to Tirana, and if if I don't go, there will be great damage," said the president.
President Vucic made an important decision:
"I will fight in the interest of our people, I will go to Tirana as soon as tomorrow, because Serbia could benefit greatly from that," said the president.
