Dacic: Vucic will make decision about going to EU-WB Tirana summit after his meeting with Lajcak
Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic said that Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic will make a decision on whether to participate in the summit in Tirana after today's meeting with EU's special envoy for dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina Miroslav Lajcak.
After a meeting with his Iranian colleague Hossein Amir-Abdollahian at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dacic told reporters that the decision on whether Vucic will travel to the summit or not will not be motivated by whether Serbia wants to join the EU or not.
"That decision is a decision about the EU's endless tolerance towards those who provoked the escalation of the conflict in Kosovo and Metohija, that is, towards Kurti", said Dacic and added that Kurti "threw the EU and the Brussels Agreement under his feet," reports Tanjug.
He also stressed that all plans depend on whether the EU and the international community want to put pressure on those who persistently provoke conflicts.
He assessed that Lajcak's visit today is one in a series aimed at overcoming escalations, because there is a list of incident situations that Pristina produces, which is unlimited.
The summit of the European Union and the Western Balkans will be held on Tuesday, December 6, in Tirana, Albania.
