Serb List: Kurti violated Constitution by making Nenad Rasic minister, Petkovic: That's his puppet
The Serb List has announced that the unconstitutional decision to appoint Nenad Rasic as Minister for Communities and Return in the Government in Pristina, without the consent of the Serb deputies (in the Assembly), is the best example of the autocratic, dictatorial, unconstitutional, illegal, and anti-Serb actions of Albin Kurti.
"After continuous violations of the Brussels Agreement, Albin Kurti once again showed that he doesn't even respect the legal acts of Pristina if they are in the interest of the Serb people. Specifically, with this appointment, Albin Kurti violated Article 96, paragraph 5 of the constitution, which states that in order to appoint a minister from of the Serb community, who is not a deputy, consent must be sought from the majority of Serb deputies, which Albin Kurti has not done, nor does Rasic have the support of our deputies," the Serb List said in a statement.
It adds that this unconstitutional appointment of Nenad Rasic is the result of the actions of Albin Kurti, who has "loyal" Serbs with him who will put their personal interest before the national one, and who do not enjoy any support from the Serb people in Kosovo and Metohija.
"Against this obvious dictatorial move by Albin Kurti, the deputies from the Serb List will file a complaint with the Constitutional Court, which will have to confirm without any delay that this is a violation of the constitution and the violation of the rights of the Serb people. This showed how strategically important it was to verify the mandates of the Serb List deputies in the Assembly in Pristina, and not allow some of Kurti's Serbs to be in a position to decide on the interests of the Serb people instead of the Serb List."
Petkovic: Nenad Rasic is Kurti's puppet
The director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petkovic, said that by appointing Rasic, Kurti brutally violated his own so-called constitution and once again violated the rights of the Serb people in Kosovo and Metohija.
"Kurti's puppet Nenad Rasic together with Rada Trajkovic do not represent the Serb people in Kosovo and Metohija, the Serbs did not vote for him in the last elections, instead he represents Albin Kurti and his militant policy towards everything that is Serb in Kosovo and Metohija. The results of the last elections in Kosovo and Metohija also show this, when the list created by Rasic won 0.173 percent of the vote, in contrast to the Serb List, which got the votes of almost 96 percent of the Serb people.
Even the internal so-called highest legal act of Pristina in Article 96, paragraph 5 stipulates that the appointment of a minister in the provisional institutions of self-government must have the support of the majority of deputies from the Serb community, in this case of the Serb List, and Kurti would never have received such support from the Serb List deputies to appoint his puppet as a minister," stated Petkovic and added:
"The appointment of Rasic is the biggest proof of what we have been warning about all the time, that there are 'Kurti's Serbs' in Kosovo who are ready to do anything for the sake of their personal interests and their deals with Pristina. That is why the Serb List, as a bulwark protecting the survival of the Serb people in these areas, is the only one that has the support official Belgrade and their own country and will never serve the authorities in Pristina and Albin Kurti, but only their own people."
