"We hope Switzerland loses so everything depends on us": Sergej will support Brazil tonight in Qatar

Serbia's national football squad drew its group stage game against Cameroon (3-3), thus complicating life for itself at the World Cup in Qatar. Now the team have to hope that Switzerland doesn't win later in the day to keep the chances of qualifying for further competition.

Our scorer today, Sergej Milinkovic Savic, understands this, as says that the team will hope for the defeat of the Swiss, so that everything would depend on Serbia in the last round. He told RTS that maybe it was necessary to have a little more possession after Serbia's third goal.

"It certainly had to be better. We had a lot of chances. When we were 3-1 up we should have held the ball a little more and wasted time. We lost a few extra balls and it ended up backfiring on us. They scored goals from two counterattacks, they took a point, it doesn't work in our favor, we had all three (points). And we hope that Switzerland will lose tonight so we can go for victory in the last round."

Sergej stressed that Serbia wanted to score as many goals as possible, but in the end that backfired.
