"No one will be seizing them away nor issuing fines": Serb List welcomes agreement regarding KM license plates
The Serb List welcomes the agreement reached in Brussels, which confirmed that KM plates remain in use, that no one will be seizing them, nor will fines be issued to our citizens who own vehicles with KM plates.
"We want to inform citizens that all owners of vehicles with KM plates will be able to function normally and when their existing registration expires, they will be able to extend the validity of their KM registration as before," the announcement states, adding:
"Therefore, all owners of vehicles with KM plates will be able to use and extend the registration for vehicles with KM plates without hindrance. Existing plates will remain, and they will be able to be extended, while new ones will not be issued for the time being. We remind you that our position was that KM plates should remain in use, that citizens' property is not confiscated, that no fines are issued, and that freedom of movement is not prevented. We asked that KM plates remain in use, not that their number be increased."
