Vucic to gastarbeiters: "Come home as soon as possible, there is more and more work here"

"I would say to everyone who is abroad: Return home as soon as possible, there is more and more work here," Aleksandar Vucic said in the company ZF Friedrichshafen, which started the construction of the second factory in Pancevo's Northern Industrial Zone.

Immediately after arriving at ZF, the president held a short meeting with the management of the company and the contractor. He added that "God looked down on us" when it comes to this German factory.

By the end of the year, he says, trade exchanges between Germany and Serbia are expected to be over 7 billion euros. He points out that this country is our most important partner and ally.

ZF announced that the works on the construction of the second factory will be finished by mid 2023.

In order to continue investing in Pancevo, ZF Serbia, the volume of which is more than 230 million euros, received state financial subsidies and construction land without paying for it.

ZF undertook to make the initial investment in tangible and intangible assets by the end of 2027 and must invest at least a quarter of its own money. The company will receive financial support from the state in six payments from 2023 to 2028.
