Vucic met with Serbs from Kosovo last night: "I am sure that we will show maturity as a nation"
President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic met last night, 40 minutes after midnight, with the representatives of Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija and said that it is time for us as a people to show seriousness and responsibility and preserve our centuries-old homes.
"Our Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija are here. We only asked them to be careful and to be calm. To preserve peace, to preserve stability and to respond to other people's arrogance and brazenness the way decent people always respond. We just want to protect our own and nothing more. So I'm sure that we will show maturity as a nation and that we will preserve our homes," said Vucic in a video posted on the Instagram account "buducnostsrbijeav."
The meeting was held last night, after yesterday's talks in Brussels failed to reach an agreement on a solution to the crisis in Kosovo, as Pristina rejected all proposals.
However, last night, Albin Kurti said that the issuing of fines over license plates would be postponed for 48 hours.
