Novak Djokovic has been given permission to play in Australia, after the Australian government lifted its previous three-year ban against the tennis star, banning him from entering the country.

This means that Novak will be able to play at the Australian Open and try to win his 10th Grand Slam title in Melbourne.

Namely, after Novak got deported last year (over not being vaccinated against Covid), and thus being prevented from defending his title at the Australian Open the previous year, he was automatically banned from entering Australia for three years, as soon as then the local minister for immigration affairs revoked his visa.

Now the new authorities in Australia now have corrected this instance of injustice and canceled the ban against Djokovic, according to The Age.
