Serbia's gentlemen! We've sent off our national football team to Qatar World Cup in style!
The Serbian football team has set off for the World Cup in Qatar. The Eagles (Serbian: Orlovi, the team nickname) first gathered at the Sports Center in Stara Pazova on Monday, where they had their training session, and in the early hours of the morning. around 8:30 they left the "Serbian House of Football" and headed to Belgrade's Nikola Tesla airport, where they caugth a flight to Bahrain at 9 o'clock.
The team departed for Qatar in style, as everyone was in suits, from head coach Dragan Stojković Piksi, members of his staff, to the footballers themselves.
Before Qatar, our guys will travel to Bahrain, where they will play a match against that country's squad in Manama on Friday, November 18, which will be the general rehearsal for the World Cup.
A day later, the team will arrive in Qatar, where matches in Group G await them. Serbia's first game will be on November 24 (starting 8:00 pm) vs. Brazil, four days later (11:00 am) vs. Cameroon, while the last group stage match will take place on December 2 (8:00 pm) vs. Switzerland.
