Brnabic visits Singapore: Serbian PM participates in Bloomberg's New Economy Forum
Prime Minister of Serbia Ana Brnabic - as Telegraf Biznis previously reported - will be in Singapore over the next few days, where she will participate in the Bloomberg New Economy Forum conference.
The prime minister will participate a panel dedicated to moving forward digital boundaries, which will also feature Strive Masiyiwa,
Founder & Executive Chairman Econet Group, Nandan Nilekani, Chairman and Co-Founder of Infosys Limited, and Hooi Ling Tan, Co-Founder of Grab.
As part of the visit, Prime Minister Ana Brnabic will meet with President of Singapore Halimah Yakob, and Theo Chee Hen, Senior Minister and Minister for National Security of Singapore.
The prime minister of Serbia will be accompanied by Minister of Science, Technological Development and Innovation Jelena Begovic.
A statement added that meetings with representatives of several companies and institutions are planned as part of the visit: Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, Boston Dynamics, AI Singapore (National Program for Artificial Intelligence), Sila Nanotechnologies, Bayer Pharmaceuticals, Temasek, and others.
A tour of Biopolis, a campus that provides space for biomedical research and development activities and promotes cooperation between the private and public sectors, is also planned.
During the visit to Singapore, there will be a ceremony of presenting the letter patent to the honorary consul of the Republic of Serbia in the Republic of Singapore, Calvin Cheng Ern Lee, on the occasion of the opening of the Consulate of the Republic of Serbia in the Republic of Singapore, the Government of Serbia has announced.
