President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic said last night that the drone which was downed in the immediate vicinity of the Serbian Army's facilities of the Raska garrison, was not a NATO military drone.

When asked whether the drone was found or not after it was downed, Vucic told TV Pink that the Serbian Army and the Military Security Agency will if necessary provide notification on the matter.

"The Army has issued a statement. There are no games there, people who think that someone is playing with something like that, there are dozens of protocols around everything. It happened to us a day later when we were already talking about the drones that were above the barracks in Novi Pazar, Raska and Merdare there towards Kursumlija, so it was not something new to us, but that's when we decided to shoot it down," said Vucic.

He stressed that Serbia is a small country and that our Army is small, but that we are ten times stronger than we used to be. Vucic stated that now we have 14 MiG-29s, while we had one when he was the minister of defense.

"Today, unlike in that period, we have two Pantsir-S1 systems, we also ordered an M1 from Russia, but it cannot reach us now. We received the first two FK-3 batteries, I'm really interested to see how they will prevent them from reaching us, using what explanation, because those weapons are not under the sanctions system or anything else," said Vucic.

He stressed that we have to improve our defense industry and added that we have offers to sell everything we produce in the next 20 years to both warring parties - the Russians and the Westerners, since the Westerners are arming the Ukrainians.

Commenting on why we would be spied on with drones when they have satellites, Vucic said, "Because with the drones they can see more, better and in more detail."
