Well-known businessman beaten in central Belgrade: He was assaulted by an attacker disguised as a garbageman
S.P., a businessman from Belgrade, was on October 21 beaten in the center of the capital, the First Basic Prosecutor's Office has confirmed for Telegraf. According to unofficial statements, he was attacked by M.M., who was at the time disguised as a city sanitation worker.
The assailant even carried a broom and rubber gloves, which he probably put on so as not to leave any fingerprints. He asked S.P. several questions first, and then proceded to brutally strike him on the head and body, to the extent that he broke the victim's nose.
When the man started calling for help, the attacker left him lying on the ground and fled the scene.
The attack happened at around 9 am, and it is assumed that the attacker was hired by somebody else. S.P. is the owner of an influential company.
The police reacted quickly, in cooperation with the First Basic Public Prosecutor's Office, and arrested M.M. for causing serious bodily injuries to S.P.
