Government limits retail price of sugar to 115 dinars per kilogram; Milk and pellet fuel measures extended
The retails price of a kilogram of white crystal sugar must not exceed 114.99 dinars, according to a decree adopted by the Government of Serbia.
The maximum producer price of the same type sugar in packages of 5 and 10 kilograms may not exceed 95 dinars per kilogram.
The maximum producer price of white crystal sugar for all other packages must not exceed 104.54 dinars per kilogram, the Government of Serbia has decided.
This decision has been extended until November 30.
The temporary ban on the export of milk and dairy products has been extended until November 30, with the exception of exports to North Macedonia and Albania.
Decree on milk extended as well
It has been published in the Official Gazette that the export ban applies to several types of milk, as well as butter in packagings of over one kilogram.
The ban does not apply to the export of goods for which an export declaration was accepted by the customs authority before the entry into force of the decision.
A temporary ban on exports was introduced at the beginning of September in order to prevent critical shortages, it was stated at the time.
Price limit on pellet fuel extended for another 90 days
The Government of Serbia has extended the decision to limit the price of pellet fuel from 90 to 180 days.
An amendment to the decree adopted in early August has been published in the Official Gazette. Back it August, the decree was to be valid for 90 days.
At the time, the maximum retail price of pellet fuel was set at a maximum of 38,000 dinars per ton, in all types of packagings.
