"Serbia's Top Hairdo" kept alligators and prostitutes: He replaced a brothel with a "pet center"

Ljubisa Vasic, known by the nickname "Serbia's Top Hairdo," was arrested yesterday in Smederevo, just a few months after he was released from prison where he served time for organizing prostitution.

He was arrested several times because of brothels he had around Smederevo, and the last time the police raided the establishment called "Nina sa Prenocistem" ("Nina Lodgings") to come across orgies in secret rooms.

He was arrested in April, but, it is now assumed, entered the exotic animal business after he was released. As we have unofficially learned, he kept 15 exotic animals in three locations - four reticulated pythons, a ball python, four Nile monitor lizards, a Savannah monitor lizard, an American alligator, a Burmese python, a boa constrictor, a sand boa and a marmoset monkey.

The police entered the house - "the pet center" - acting on a tip, and following the same scenario as with the "Nina Lodgings" case in the past, and in both cases encountered some unreal scenes.

All the animals have been seized and handed over to the Republic Veterinary Inspection, while a criminal complaint was filed against the suspect Ljubisa Vasic, known as "Serbia's Top Hairdo," with the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in regular proceedings.

As Telegraf.rs has learned, he had five "pet centers" in the center of Smederevo, which are now closed.

In early April, Ljubisa Vasic and a waiter, J.J. (62), got arrested for human trafficking in Vasic's tavern, which is located in Mihajlovac near Smederevo, and the police raided his place at the very moment "orgies" were taking place in secret rooms.

"The prosecution and the police received information that Vasic, who had been arrested several times for prostitution, is again keeping girls in his tavern. The police were waiting to catch them in the act. That's exactly what happened. They even found a secret passage leading to those rooms. The orgy rooms were on the second floor," said a person close to the investigation.
