President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic has congratulated Milorad Dodik on the occasion of his election as the RS president.

"Please accept my sincere congratulations on the occasion of your election as the president of the Serb Republic and best wishes for success in your responsible role. I am convinced that you will work persistently and with a strong will to bring progress to the RS and prosperity to all its citizens.

I am also convinced that, with your political experience, you will deal responsibly with the various current challenges, preserving peace and stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina. You can always count on Serbia's sincere friendship, as well as our selfless support and cooperation in fostering political, cultural, economic and spiritual ties."
