The Beljanica Mountain is located between the basins of the rivers Resava and Mlava, in the eastern part of Serbia. It is one of our largest limestone mountains rich in sinkholes, ravines and caves.

It got its Serbian name thanks to the white rocks that dominate the karst relief.

The highest peak of Beljanica, which bears the same name as the mountain, "plunges" into the Cemernica River Gorge, making the environment seem both amazing and terrifying at the same time.

What particularly delights visitors are the waters that sink and reappear, changing the face of Beljanica in accordance with the strength of the soil.

Lovers of long walks will not go wrong if they head to this part of eastern Serbia, eager to "recharge batteries" in nature. Mountain paths look especially beautiful in the fall, before the first rains and snow, while trees are still covered with leaves in all shades that create a special atmosphere.

Finally, what will delight each visitor and inspire them to visit Beljanica again are karst springs and the Veliki Buk waterfall, as well as numerous caves that make the "face" of the mountain even more interesting to explore.
