Chaos in Novi Sad: Altercation and fight after traffic accident, passer-by tries to intervene, gets stabbed

The showdown that took place last night in front of a market in Petrovaradin, Novi Sad, was preceded by a minor traffic accident, while an innocent man got stabbed with a knife, Telegraf.rs has learned.

Namely, two men who participated in the accident first had an argument, and then physically attacked each other.

A third man was on his way home from work saw that there had been an accident and approached to help. Realizing that those involved in the crash were now also arguing, he tried to separate them, after which one of them attacked him and stabbed him with a knife.

The victim underwent surgery at the Clinical Center in Novi Sad and is conscious and in stable condition.

According to the initial information, the police detained one person, but there is still no official confirmation of this information.

An investigation was carried out on at the scene.
