Ceda Jovanovic speaks for Telegraf: I would never hit my wife, I would rather tear my head off

LDP leader Cedomir Jovanovic, who allegedly got into a physical fight with his wife Jelena and was reported to the police because of this violence, tells Telegraf.rs that he would never hit her, that they only had an argument and that she did not report him to the police.

"My wife did not report me. I saw on a portal that I was reported. I don't know what to say," Jovanovic told Telegraf.rs

Jovanovic added that they had an argument and that he left the house.

"Like everyone does," says Jovanovic.

When asked if that meant he didn't hit her, he replied:

"Me, are you crazy? I would rather tear my head off. I love her more than anything in the world."

Jovanovic confirmed for Telegraf.rs that he was at the police, and when asked if everything is fine with Jelena, he said that "it is not, because he does not like to argue with Jelena, precisely because he loves her very much."

In the meantime, Jelena Jovanovic, Cedomir's wife, spoke for the Nova.rs portal, denying that there was a physical clash.

"I'm making lunch for three girls who are at school, nobody beat me, nor did I beat anyone. I'm cooking peas, that's not what a battered woman does. It's very hard for me because my children will read this. I don't need this in my life, I live a peaceful life, I came back from the trip, everything is okay and everything is great," Jelena Jovanovic told Nova.rs.
