During an emergency session of the Central Election Commission (CIK) of Bosnia and Herzegovina, a decision was made to recount the ballots cast during the Serb Republic (RS) presidential elections, due to "irregularities and mathematical illogicalities", the CIK announced, reports Avaz.

"This morning, the CIK held a collegium where it considered remarks and objections to the election process in the election for the RS president and vice president. We had material evidence and video materials where it was clear that the process was contaminated so it was not possible to present the results of the election. The CIK has decided to issue an order to the main counting center to open the bags and count the ballots again as well as the ballots in the Brcko District, cast in the election for the RS president," CIK President Suad Arnautovic is quoted as saying.

According to the results so far, Milorad Dodik won almost 30,000 votes more than Jelena Trivic.
