Belgian citizen arrested at Batrovci: Serbian police find almost 200 psychoactive tablets in his Golf

Members of the Ministry of the Interior in the town of Sid arrested S.D. (48), a Belgian citizen, on suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of unauthorized possession of narcotics.

During the inspection of a Golf driven by the suspect at the exit of the Batrovci border crossing with Croatia, the Serbian border police found 195 tablets from the psychoactive substances list, without any medical documentation.

The suspect will be detained for up to 48 hours, within which time he will be brought before the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Sremska Mitrovica along with a criminal complaint.
