Vucic meets with Saracen: Serbia continues with policy of responsible approach to all regional issues

President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic today met with the special envoy of the German government for the Western Balkans, Manuel Saracen, with whom he discussed the continuation of the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina and the current situation in the region.

President Vucic reiterated Serbia's stance and position regarding all issues in the Western Balkans, stressing that our country advocates for additional improvement of connections and economic cooperation in the region.

President Vucic also stressed that Serbia continues with the policy of a responsible approach to all regional issues, because this is the best way to preserve stability and progress of the entire region.

The interlocutors specifically touched on the continuation of the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, as well as preparation of documents and the importance of the meeting itself within the Berlin process, as well as the realization of the right to the four freedoms - free movement of people, goods, services and capital.

On that occasion, President Vucic reiterated that Serbia is committed to political dialogue as the primary way of solving all challenges in the Balkans, but that it will continue to protect its territorial integrity and sovereignty while consistently advocating for respect for international law.

President Vucic pointed out that Serbia appreciates and supports the Berlin process, as a format that in a concrete way gives impetus to EU integration of the Western Balkans.
