Tennis coach from Novak's tennis center gives Federer a hilarious send-off
One of the tennis coaches who works at the Novak Tennis Center, Boris Bosnjakovic, marked the retirement of one of the greatest players of all time, Roger Federer, in an original way.
Federer said goodbye to his playing career at the Laver Cup, where he was a teammate with Novak Djokovic, and his tears made the news around the world.
But if he sees how Boris has honored him for everything he has done in his career, it will certainly put a smile on his face.
Namely, Boris Bosnjakovic was once a tennis pro, and his best ATP ranking was 740 on September 21, 1998.
He posted a screenshot of that, showing him ranked at 740, and Roger Federer at 876, and that was because Federer had lost 204 places that week.
"My claim to fame as a player... only 24 years ago. Ranked ahead of Fed! Farewell to The Magician of Tennis. Loved his game and modeled mine after it (unsuccessfully)! Also long live one-handed backhands!," Boris wrote, prompting his followers from Serbia and abroad to post entertaining comments.
