Major police operation in Zemun: 2 Montenegrins arrested, 30 kilos of drugs and 4 cars seized

Members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Criminal Police Administration, in cooperation with the Security and Information Agency and the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade, seized about 30 kilograms of marijuana and arrested Montenegrin citizens M.M. (33) and B.DJ. (46) on suspicion that they committed the criminal offense of unauthorized production and distribution of narcotics.

During an inspection of a Renault Megane in Zemun, Belgrade, the police found marijuana hidden in the vehicle.

At the same time, four cars and around 23,000 euros in cash were seized during this operation.

The suspects will be detained for up to 48 hours and then brought before the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade along with a criminal complaint.
