Jovan Vukotic (42), who was killed in a car in Istanbul on September 8 lived in Turkey for a year using the name "Predrag Popovic." 1.5 million euros were paid for his murder, according to Turkey's Kibris CNN.
All his photo IDs had that name and last name.
At the time of the murder Vukotic was in the car with his driver E.K., who later turned out to be a known drug lord who had been arrested with 800 kilos of cocaine and 4.5 million euros, as well as his pregnant wife Masa M. and his daughter.
A few days later, the local police arrested Radoje Zivkovic and Zdravko Perunovic, and then ten other people who participated in this murder.
Zivkovic is said to be a relative of Radoje Zvicer, the leader of Montenegro's criminal group known as the Kavac Clan.
"The Turkish police have so far discovered that Vukotic was tracked for four months using GPS devices attached to his car. Namely, three satellite tracking devices were found. They put two in the trunk, one under the car," the Turkish media reported citing their sources from the police and added that the attack of the leader of the Skaljari Clan (the rivals of the Kavac Clan) had been planned several times, but that that the moment was not right.
It is also stated that 1.5 million euros were paid for this murder. The hit was "worked on" by two teams as suspected, on the orders of the Kavac Clan. The victim was followed and logistics planned for four months.
