Cvjetin Milivojevic: It's good that Vucic agreed to send a letter to China and Russia
Political scientist Cvjetin Milivojevic considers it positive that during the first day of the debate about Kosovo and Metohija in the Serbian parliament President Aleksandar Vucic accepted the proposal of People's Party to write a letter to China and Russia, and ask them to veto Kosovo's admission to the UN.
Milivojevic said that in addition to that, several positive things happened during yesterday's session.
"Bosko Obradovic's sentence, 'Let's first identify if there is anyone here who is in favor of Kosovo's independence' is also important, and no one responded, which is a very important message," Milivojevic told TV K1.
Milivojevic also said that it is important that a report has been presented to the public about what has been done so far regarding the issue of Kosovo, but that added tgat this is not enough, because no concrete solution to the Kosovo problem has been offered.
Milivojevic stated that it was good that the president attended the session, but that it was unusual that representatives of the government and Prime Minister Ana Brnabic were absent.
"The session was initiated by the government, and none of its representatives were present, which is a bit unusual. It is indisputable that the president of Serbia has the highest rating, but it is also indisputable that the government conducts policy," Milivojevic said.
He stressed that it is good that the president listened to all political opponents and showed understanding for different points of view.
"Everyone looked at the president as if he had a solution and it's a bit sad that no one from the SNS parliamentary group presented any ideas," Milivojevic thinks.
