Police issue statement after arrest of stuntman suspected of raping and sexually abusing 10 girls

Members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) in Belgrade have arrested M.DJ. (68), who is the person responsible for an equestrian club in Barajevo, on suspicion that he, from 2010 to 2021, committed criminal acts of rape, attempted rape and five criminal acts of illicit sexual actions against a number of students of his horse riding school.

It is suspected that in December 2010, he raped a girl who was a minor at the time, and eight years later tried to rape another minor.

M.DJ. is also accused of inappropriately touching private parts of five riding school students, two of whom were children at the time, one of them a minor. This was happening from 2013 until 2021.

The suspect has been detained for up to 48 hours and will be, along with a criminal complaint, brought to the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade.
