Discussions about EuroPride are ongoing between representatives of the Government of Serbia and organizers of the event scheduled for September 17.

Telegraf.rs has been told that the goal of the talks is to ensure respect for human rights, but also to show an understanding of the circumstances in which Serbia finds itself at this moment.
President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic previously said that he was not happy about the decision to cancel the pride parade, that this threatened the rights of a minority, but that the country made such a decision pressured by numerous problems.
The Government of Serbia recently announced that there are currently no conditions for the safe holding of the EuroPride 2022 event.
