Radovanovic: The Pag killing was done by a hitman, only they return to check if the target is dead

Montenegrin citizen Goran Vlaovic (38) was killed yesterday on the island of Pag, Croatia, and the local police detained Serbian citizen Dusko (Dusan) T. as a suspect in the case.

The killing took place in front of many witnesses, including the victim's girlfriend. Dusan T., according to his lawyer, has chosen not to make any statements to the investigators.

Only a few hours after the murder, videos started circulating online, testifying to the brutality of the killer.

Dobrivoje Radovanovic, a criminalist, also looked at the footage to give his opinion.

"I think that the murder was carried out by a hired killer. Only they come back to check if the target is dead. That is clearly visible in this video. The man runs away only when he is sure that the job is done," explains Radovanovic and notes that the killer only gets paid if the target has in fact died.

According to him, the killer probably does not even know who the person who ordered the hit is.

"With liquidations like this, everything goes through intermediaries," claims Radovanovic.

Based on his many years of experience, he can also say that the killer followed the victim for a certain abount of time to learn about his habits.

"He was waiting for the right moment to carry out the murder," says Radovanovic and adds that at this time he cannot say how much money the killer might have received.

"Killers get paid based on the target they are hired to kill. If it is a 'big' one, that figure can range between 50,000 and 70,000 euros," explains Radovanovic.

A shot to the neck

Montenegrin citizen Goran Vlaovic was killed on a popular Pag beach at around six o'clock in the morning yesterday.

In the meantime, a new video taken from security cameras has emerged showing how the killer approached the target from behind and, in cold blood, shot him in the neck using a pistol with a silencer.

And as Vlaovic fell to the ground as if struck by lightning, the killer started to run away from the club, and threw the gun away.

The shooter fled amid general commotion, but it is interesting that, as can be seen near the end of the video, he then returned to the scene of the crime, most likely to check whether the hit was successful. That cost him dearly, because after that he ran right straight into the hands of the police.

As a source close to the investigation revealed for Telegraf, the case is most likely a brutal murder committed by fueding criminal clans.

Two killings?

D.T. (28), who, according to Croatian media, is suspected of murdering Montenegrin citizen Goran Vlaovic, already has a warrant issued against him by Montenegro.

He is linked to the murder of Minja Sakovic in Budva on June 17 of this year. Sakovic was close to the Montenegrin criminal group known as Skaljarci (the Skaljari Clan), and he was killed in a cafe in the Old Town.

The suspect, who is a citizen of Serbia, is not wanted in our country.
