This is the place on Pag where a Serbian shot a young man in the head: He died on the way to the hospital
The Croatian police arrested a citizen of Serbia on suspicion of having shot a young man who, according to unofficial information, is a citizen of Montenegro, using a firearm, in front of a bar near the Zrce beach on the island of Pag, around 6 o'clock this morning.
The shooting happened while there were still people in the club, and some of them used their phones to film the attempt to save the life of the unfortunate young man who was shot in the head.
The videos, allegedly taken in front of that club, show several people trying to resuscitate a man who is lying on the ground with his head in a pool of blood. Unfortunately, he could not be saved, and died on the way to the hospital.
The chief of the local police, Zeljko Blaic, said that he could not say for at present whether this was the work of a hitman, reports Zadarski.hr.
He confirmed that a Serbian citizen has been detained, but did not want to reveal whether the suspect was previously known to the police. Blaic said that the Croatian police is in contact with colleagues from the region.
The motive for the murder is currently unknown.
